Subject: update on 4020 cab-slowly quiet

western iowa,by Denison
getting things fixed-the heater works-carpet on the floor,Adam got some weatherstripping for the doors and that helped a bunch,he also put cardboard side panels on the other day when it was -10 below-found dad's chains from his old oliver 1655 tractor-running 16.9-34 tires and Adam put a bull pull hitch on the wagon and used the jd chopper hitch bolted to the 4020 drawbar-worked on the flow control under the dash, big battery and if I plug the recirculating heater in (1000 watts) the cab is warm at start up as it normally sits in my open barn by the feedlot
was looking at a 6430jd for update as the 2955 doesn't really turn short enough-even with the wide front this 4020 turns shorter-happy so far with the cab over the heat-houser 4020 for winter feeding and really like the hyd levers up on the dash compared to the side console 2955
I think if Adam keeps tweeking little things the cab will get quieter and we also put a new muffler on-that seem to help with noise and fumes that were coming in the cab, maybe new tires by spring -but really debating if I just don't put 16.9-34's back on
