| We are looking a 2013/14 F 150 truck. This is the first I've seen those vehicles without a fill cap. It looks as if it would be trouble on dirt roads to me over time. Our livestock brand inspector had a F 150 and showed it to me. He said he hasn't had any problems in 25,000 miles. In reading a deal from Ford it sounded like they relied on the rubber seal on fuel door to keep dirt/ moisture out of tank. http://corporate.ford.com/our-company/investors/investor-news-detai... About all the problem I found was people having problems with fuel nozzles getting stuck in easy/filler cap more than anything. I really can't believe they can't put a cap on them, sure looks as if all someone has to do is put a funnel down opener to steal gas or pour something in your tank.
In reading more about them it said the fuel door locks when door locks are locked is that true?
