| With corn prices continually going down are the prices of older combine prices going up? For example.... an older JD 9500-9600 combine. Are farmers more into buying a nice 9600 combine or are they rather forking up $100,000-$150,000 for a nice 9770, 9760 combines? Went to a JD dealership the other day and the older combine that I priced 6 months ago are raised in price. Yes....raised in price. '94 model 9600 with 4500 hr 6 months ago was $24,000...now same combine $28,000. Manager stated these combines are becoming a "hot hot" item with corn prices. Any input or is he just wanting his Christmas bonus? And is that combine worth it at $28,000? | |
