| Need your help. 40 year old well pump for barn intermittently suddenly stops pumping water. No water at faucets, no water in pressure tank. We turn the circuit breaker off, flip it back on 30 minutes later and everything works fine--until it suddenly stops pressurizing the tank again several days later. Totally unpredictable. Put in a new pressure tank last year (old one sprung a leak), but otherwise no work on it for decades.
Is this a pressure gauge problem, a tank problem, a wiring problem, a well pump problem, or none of the above. Heading into winter and I need to figure this out.
Thanks for your help.
