| With looking towards seed varieties for corn and soybeans for next year, I just have issues with the seed test plot yield results. I'm sure most of the seed plots aren't planted on average land. They're usually planted on the best land available with probably more fertilizer attention then normal conditions. So how do you truly decide on numbers when 95% of your ground is less quality then the seed test plot?
Not to mention that every seed company claims to be "X" bushels better than the competition!
And how can you fully trust that you get the fully disclosed and accurate results that the literature states versus actual?
It's tough picking seed out when it changes so fast as well.
What's your process for choosing from "everything" out there?
