Subject: strip till with less than 20inch

Ukraine
Hi.

Is anyone running strip till with less than 20 inch?

We think of moving to 17.72inch (45cm) for sugar beet, soy, sunflower, canola. Have rather clayey soil (up to 30%), so cannot go one pass in spring.
Anyone havong a proposal for a shallow spring cultivation machine in the rows following cover crops, like two or three inches deep? We plat with 24 rows currently.

thanks,
Ole
