Subject: Changing Hyd/Tranny Fluid Brand for a CIH Magnum

WI
I have a couple of my Case IH Magnums 8920, 8950 & 7240 due for hyd/transmission fluid and filter changes shortly. I previously used Case IH Hytran Plus fluid as specified in my owners manuals. I already receive most of my other oils from Mobil in 55gal. drums delivered to the farm the same time when I buy fuel. I have used Mobilfluid 424 for several years in my older IH 1566, 1466 and 1066's with no problems.

Would there be any problems with using the Mobilfluid 424 in my Magnums? These tractors are no longer under warranty so that is not an issue.

I don't have the cross-reference from an IH Hytran Plus container on hand. But here are some specs in this link for the Mobilfluid 424.
