Subject: Siezed Bolt Removal Suggestions and Home Made Portable Press Pics

Sort of Central to North Central Iowa
Trying to remove siezed bolts from the parallel linkages on the gangs of the Hiniker 1000. Tore one gang completely apart and pressed two bolts at home, took it to a welding shop to get the others removed. Did a little cultivating, realized some others needed attention (more than I thought). Tried to use the pump/cylinder out of an old inexpensive 2 ton floor jack (that had gotten twisted and salvaged) to power a home made press. I put it in place and pumped it until I couldn't pump the jack anymore. Anyone have any other suggestions that could help keep me from completely tearing it apart and taking it to the welding shop. I thought about heating the bushing (I tried that on the first gang to no avail) and finding a larger jack pump/cylinder. Thanks, Dave.
