Subject: Trouble thrashing canola with 2388

SE, Tn.
First year for growing canola. The crop was good for what I here about yields. It ran 63 BPA. The only trouble was not blowing it out the back of the combine. We put in our wheat grate and concaves slowed the rotor down to 430 rpm. We have corn screen in the back. We could not keep from blowing it out the back of the combine. I played with the air, went from 800 to 950 and the only thing I accomplished was to choke the return elevator down. I shut the screen down and would run it out the back. Finally found a happy medium and didn,t look back. Luckly just had 30 Ac. I was wondering the farmer that grow a lot of canola what they do to there 2388 to make it do better. any help would be apperatied. Realy liked the crop, it is raining here every other day but it dried down so we could get it out easer than the wheat. Still like 150 ac. wheat.
