west central Iowa | If anybody runs into somebody selling some used caseih 5240 parts let me know they probably stole them off my tractor. I left it next to the road at a farm in kind of a secluded location a couple of days ago and they got the battery, cables, battery box cover, toolbox full of tools, all the lights off the fenders, the plug for implement lights, the hydraulic breather, and the bracket that holds the third arm up when not in use. Of course they cut the wires to get the lights, too hard to pull plugs. If what they took or damaged was replaced with new from caseih the parts would be over $2500. Oh yeah and half a tank off diesel. I know I shouldn't have left it in sight of the road, but I was hurrying to get my daughter's last softball game for the season. This was in west central Iowa by the way. | |
