Subject: Atrazine Burning corn

Shubert, NE
Since we had some volunteer beans in our corn we decided to put a little extra atrazine on. I was running 1 qt of atrazine and 1 qt of powermax. I got rained out of the field and its been hot and humid. Where ever it was over lapped or just random strips are burned to the point of almost the whole stalk is brown. The stalk itself is still green and if you peel off the brown leaves it is green inside. Did I hurt my corn? Since seeing this I dropped back to a pint and a half of atrazine. I am hoping it will grow out of it as it doesnt look real pretty on one field which of course is right by a busy road.
