north central ky
Looking at updating mowers and a local dealer has an 08 730 center pivot with flail conditioner in great condition and a 04 1431 new holland center pivot in good condition except the rubber rollers have a few chunks missing out of them. They are asking the same price on both machines. The Deere looks a little nicer and 4 years newer but I like the idea of a 13 ft cut over a 9'9" cut. If I go with the Deere will I regret the size? For now I will only be mowing about 150 acres of grass hay on ground that is too rough to row crop. Won't be setting any speed records while mowing.
