Nwmo | I'm trying to setup an Insight direct command system for starter fertilizer on a planter. I'm using an electric pump and a Micro trak emd 40 amp PWM version. I have never setup any pwm components before and I am having a little trouble dialing it in. Right now when I turn on the system the target rate is 5 gpa, the motor turns on and for some reason it will slow down to 4.1 gpa and hold there. I am using a constant speed on a test field, I can manually increase the flow to 7.5 gpa. Micro trak people aren't any help and agleader support tried but concluded I had my flow meter calibration number (micro trak tag says 485pls/gal /2 = 242.5) wrong but I can't see why that would produce the outcome I'm getting. I tried raising the target rate to 6 gpa and the flow went to 4.6 gpa. Response threshold is 2%, frequency 100 hz, gain 800, no flow 35, and last number was 50 can't remember what its called.
