Subject: Basic question about row clutches/GPS

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

On a split row planter(like Knize 12/23; or my homemade JD 7200 8 row with splitter and 5 row units are 5 ft rearward) can the programming be set that the front/forward rows get shutoff first, before back/rearwards rows do; coming into a headland? (remember, it maybe every other row) How about coming OFF a headland=entering the center of the field?

I assume, if you set a "time value" to EACH row(numbered), then it would work.

Note: I don't own any GPS equipment ,yet; but try to read a little, to better understand these systems.

Thanks
