Subject: NAT approved? Pooor mans filter wrench (pic)

Frytown, Iowa
Go ahead an throw your filter wrenches on eBay and put that money towards good use. Cause someone who would rather think for 10 mins rather than drive for 15 mins to buy a wrench has thought of a one size fits all wrench for filters... Never grab the wrong sized wrench again. Instead just pull off some 1 inch sandpaper and use that. It fits any size filter (except those square fuel filters) and will break loose filters or give you that "1/2 extra" turn your supposed to do after the hand tightening. For extremely tight filters doubling up may be required but I haven't run into that yet...

Down side: doesn't look cool like a rack full of snap on wrenches

Plus side: cheap, fits any size filter, multi use (for sanding or for wrenching), disposable so you never have a lost wrench
