ne iowa | I'm going to wean my calves tomorrow. 5-600 lbs. 8 steers, 6 heifers. Black, Bwf, and one red steer. I have a lot of corn silage,50-80 bushel grain yield. I have corn in the bin. I'm keeping the heifers to replace some of my old cows. Question- Should I feed out the steers or sell them in 3 weeks or at 800lbs? I'm thinking with the feeders so high and corn at $7.00 I wouldn't make much more by feeding them out like I usually do. TIA Isujim NE IA | |
