Subject: Foundation Herbicides - Soybeans

Nevada, Iowa
Round-up isn't working very well here any longer. I imagine others are seeing the same thing. I am not a stranger to ppi or preemerge foundations but I find myself looking for input regarding the type of herbicide to use. I have never stopped using foundations altogether and I am a big fan of Sonic (authority/first rate) so that will be part of the mix. I was a big user of Treflan and I am not opposed to going that route but I am wondering if a generic Dual II product would give us better control of tall waterhemp. For those of you fighting resistant TWH, what is working the best?

By the way, I used Sonic over the top last year and it did finally work when we got a rain but the first flush of TWH came through it and we had a heck of time burning that down. I think I want two modes of action this year and I want it lightly incorporated. Thanks for any feedback.
