Subject: Keeton or Rebounder seed firmers

Illinois

We have run Rebounders for many years and have liked them but they are needing to be replaced. I searched here and most seem to like the Keetons better. We farm heavy black all the way to light timber soils using a Kinze 3600. The corn and soybeans are planted minimum till with insectide, we use no liquid on the planter.

My first question is why does most everyone like the Keetons better than the Rebounders?  Our emergence has been as good as I think it could be given the conditions sometimes. We dont have any problems with soil building up on the Rebounders in wet conditions.

Second question do we need the mojo wire if we buy the Keetons or is this more for no-till situations?

Thanks in advance for any information.
