Subject: What do you figure for feet of bunkspace when backgrounding calves?

Saronville NE
Going to be putting in another bunkline/apron this week, my question is how many feet do you feel is right for backgrounding calves, say from 450-550 area ta 900 lbs? Is 1.5ft enuff? Thinking 1.5 ft into a 212 ft apron would be 141 head, does that sound doable?
