| We have extremely difficult threashing conditions our crops are usually dry to very dry but.... We have to run slow and very tight with 4 to 6 coverplates to thresh. High rotor speeds grind it all up and wider clearances and less fillers leave very large percentages of white caps. Power is not our limiting factor, high through put (the bullet rotor is a disadvantage), we need to keep it in longer to threash it. Presently the 9770's each do 12 to 15 acres / hour, with 36' headers. I am loosing one and an operator, so will 2 CR8090's or CR9090' with 42-45' headers do it?
I would appreciate advice from anyone with relevant experience. Thank you! | |
