| Sitting here doing the i think i did the correct thing. Had my son go for me to a land auction to bid. We stopped bidding and the other party bought it. Majority of it is very light with a few strips of clay running thru it. Local water driller stated he not sure but good water is tough to find in that area for irrigation. Would not know till somone drill's down. Party that bought it is a succesfull large national cattle breeder that has deep deep pockets. They are growing and growing around the area. Spoke with the farmer that has rented it for a decade and he stated crop insurance is needed to run that land. He didn't bid. When all the fee and cost are done it will be about $2300 acre. South Central MN.
guess i will take care of my other obligations for now.
