Subject: Higher Tax Rates = Year-End Selling Pressure

I see some post about about buying calls on corn and beans in anticipation of a Santa Claus rally.

Perhaps I am wrong but South American crops are looking good at this point and it looks like more Republicans such as Saxby Chambliss are willing to raise tax rates on higher incomes. That definition fits a lot of large farmers these days, so I wonder if we may see more selling pressure this year-end than normal?

I remain bullish on Corn in 2013, espcially if dryness persists in North America, but the chances of seeing a spike in Beans may be closing as we closer to harvest time in SA.
