Subject: GIS-based accounting?

39.48, -82.98

Actually, I would like to find (or develop) a good GIS-based management system that includes accounting, yield analysis, fertility, BI/CRM/ERP, etc.

Best-of-class accounting software has no GIS connection. Best-of-class GIS software might let you make a "profit map" but that is about it. I'm looking for more.

Anyone have a suggestion on where to start?

I know there are some well-respected open source GIS and accounting packages, available free of charge. Some that I have looked at share the PostgreSQL database, which gives me some hope of a mashup. Any interest?
