Subject: noisy house downspout question

Rivers, MB
Have aluminum eavestroughs/downspouts on our new house. Have discovered that one of them is really noisy from the rain hitting the kicker right at the bottom. And the location of it is right beside our son's bed in the room. Has a corner room with 2 downspouts at both locations where his bed could be so moving the bed won't help him fall asleep when its raining outside (didn't rain much this year at all so only discovered the problem this fall when it started raining!). Is there anything that can be put at the bottom to "cushion" the water when it hits the bottom so its not as noisy?

Thanks in advance.
