Tip of the Thumb of Michigan | Here is my thought: We field cultivate our ground in the spring, then apply nh3, then field cultivate again. Sometimes just a few hours between opening up the field and planting. Most years we get no noticable damage. Some years it shows as it did this year. It is probably causing trouble that we don't see (Plus compaction possiblities). We are planting using RTX. We have another 750 on waas. If I upgrade it to RTX how easy will it be to share a-b lines and then shift over 15"? We plant 30" and use a 30" applicator. I know I will need to use farmworks or something to share, but how will I know I'm over the 15"? I thought of leaving a 5 foot strip across the field so I can see were to plant in between, but to me that seems like it should be plan d or e, not plan a. I want to us my previous planter a-b lines any way. What am I forgetting? |
