MO | I have a beater and would like to switch it to a chopper, I came across a chopper assembly (from a fellow agtalker) from a late model 2388. The main drive off the PTO is a 5 groove pulley, 2188 and early 2388's have a 3 groove pulley. It is a complete assembly minus the drive pulley. If I buy a 5 groove pulley is it as simple as take the 3 groove off and swap or are the shafts different? My dealer(s) was no help, they weren't sure what was going on and didn't have the pulley's in stock to compare. Thanks for any help. | |
