Subject: New radio system..digital or analog?

Rn Co KS

We are starting over with a complete new system. UHF with repeater. What are the experiences or reasons to go with one or the other? TIA

edit: Just got to wondering if digital blanks out like the TV during a thunderstorm? Things can get a little busy just before a storm and poor communication would not help.
