Subject: Crop rotation--thinking of doing something different??

tennessee
I have 3 farms that I rent and 3 farms that I own. The 3 I rent will grow good corn every year, even this year had good corn. The 3 farms I own are not as good a ground, they need water reguarly to grow "decent" corn. Soooo, I'm thinking of going to corn on corn on corn.............etc. on my 3 rented farms and grow beans on beans on beans on my farms. I am confident after what I saw this year with terrible growing conditions for corn on these rented places and still getting good corn that these farms will produce with COC. On my farms, I may grow some corn on one of them every 3 yrs or so just to break up the rotation. Year in and year out my farms don't make me money with corn, but they will grow beans with a little water. Am I crazy or does this sound like a good idea to ya'll?
