I've searched and do not find much here about the IPAD mini.  I probably will not buy one but I'm curious about them.  I don't have a smart phone, just a plain ol' cell phone can be addictive enough, but it would be nice at times to go on-line when away from home and away from wi-fi.

I'm on VerizonWireless.  I looked at their site and it looks like data may add $50/mo (for 1 GB) to my plan.  That seems to be outrageous for something I may not use very much.  Are there cheaper Verizon data plans out there?
