Subject: My ingenious neighbor (pics)

I read alot of posts of people complaining about their neighbors. I on the other hand have one of the greatest neighbors ever. He runs a welding shop which employes 7 men. Most of his employs are men that can't hold jobs anywhere else due to subanstance abuse or criminal record yet he keeps them going and they all think the world of him. Truely a great human.

There's nothing he can't build or repair. Always willing to stop what he's doing and fix things for me if I break down.

I stopped by this afternoon and saw his latest creation. A wood splitter he's building for himself. Powered by a 460 CI Ford engine. 2 48" stroke 5" cylinders.

Edit: I'll get some pictures of the splitter in action when it's completed

The truck is a 6x6 GMC he build for himself using the rear ends from a military truck. Somehow he matched the gear ratio to the front axle to make it a wood hauling machine.
