HELP?? ANY INFO. AND ADVICE would really be apprecaited!! THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE. Looking to upgrade and go to a bigger planter, JD DB 60 (Bauer/Built) frame 36 row 20 inch. MAIN QUESTION ??? is there a liquid fert delivery system to put down 28-0-0 that WORKS without major problems??? We heard that Dawn makes some kind of a bolt on to frame system?? If so, how is it working??? You can't use the JD old single disk fert set up because of the bauer frame, right?? Worried about the plugging of trash with 20 in factor in COC fields?? Looking for answers THANKS AGAIN !! Also, is there a fert row shut off system that works good. We will be going to seed row shut off system hpoefully. what is good??? IS JD new electric "row command" system working out good Pros and Cons??? We now have 1770nt CCS 16 row 30 in. planter with precision plant equip; 20/20. Pulling 2000 gal. liquid fert. split trailer 400 pop up, 1600 main 28-0-0. with JD single disk fert opener for 2x2 28-0-0 and keeton seed firmers with split fert tubes for pop up fert. Also put on yetter floating tiger sharks trash kickers, which seem to work good except for big lumps(6in.) seem to bounce over. We really like what we are doing now, the corn really responds to the liquid fert. and it is so much easier to pump liquid than to mess around with dry!! Sorry this got so long, new at messaging. Long time reader tho, very interesting INFO. Farmers are experts with there knowledge and experience THANKS, Farming in SE North Dakota.
