Subject: Northeast people and the hurricane...

Garrett County, MD
How are you doing?? We got over 2 foot of snow and are just getting power back today at most places. A lot of side roads still down. I had one more day of bean cutting to do and they are now flat on the ground under snow. A lot of corn left to do as we abandoned that to get as many soybean acres cut as possible before the hurricane. I haven't dared to go look at the corn but hopefully just the tops are knocked over. Stalk quality was good this year here. Snow was very heavy, trees down everywhere...

One thing is for sure, I have a lot of posts to read this weekend as I have not had internet until yesterday. Hope everyone else is making it through ok. I'm sure glad I bought that new generator/welder last year!
