I put all my nitrogen 4" away from the seed 30 gal. 30% nitrogen this year and 5 gal. 5-15-15 starter on the seed plus 1 gal.N-pact on with second spray. If everything goes right I hpoe to start shelling on Tuesday. I always hesitate to say anything about ours crops but I believe we have are best crop growing this year we have ever grown. I have sent a stalk nitrate test in on 2 fields and I am planning on talking two soil test out of the field at the same time,one right in the row and the other in the middle of the row,will this give me the information I need and am looking for? Our prolimitary yield check is looking like 165 bu/acre and we are a class C soil.
