PROSPECT, TENNESSEE | I want to plant some rye this fall to harvest for cover crop use next fall. What variety is the best for my area? What is the seeding rate? Fertility program? I sure don't want it to lodge. I have a good secluded field surrounded by tree lines and hills to protect it from wind, LOL! Will be drilled in 7.5" rows.
