SWOH | Watched the IRL race tonight and found out Bob Jenkins is retiring from calling races...sorry to see him go. I think Benny Parsons, Ned Jarrett,and Bob were major factors in Nascar becoming so popular in the 80's and 90's. And I always enjoyed when he'd call the Indy 500. Nothing real flashy about him but he knew how to add the right amount of excitement to a situation. Hopefully he doesn't disappear completely. | |
