South-Central Virginia | Stumps are finally coming up on land I bought last fall. I sold the timber at closing. This property joins my farm. Planning on clearing 50 acres on the front and planting the rest back in pine. Almost all of the tract lays pretty flat. Land will need lots of fertilizer, lime, and chicken poop.
About 25 acres were cut in January, they will come back this winter and cut the rest. A friend/neighbor is stumping it with a track hoe and will pile with a track loader. Loggers piled all the tops in 4 piles, should be able to see those burning from the moon!
