| How useful is it to have autotrac on the auger cart tractor? Seems to me that it should work well if I can get the combine cutting straight, then put the same heading and spacing into the cart tractor. My cart driver tends to wander a bit, and I think I could teach him to use autotrac enough to keep him the same distance away from the combine. The fore-aft I can hit with the swing on the auger, I just don't like having to chase him around with the combine.
I am getting ready to put an ATU into the combine and realized that I am out of tapered spline adapters for the older Deere equipment. I put an ad in the classifieds. If someone has one, let me know. Otherwise I need to go visit mama deere. | |
