mascoutah, IL | What would be expected for fuel mileage on a C13. 65 mile round trips with 2/3 of the miles are interstate. Truck idles about 5-10 minutes while loading and unloading. I run 65 on the interstate if that matters. My truck is averaging 4.7 mpg after the first 6 loads. It is a 2006 freightliner columbia with 440,000 miles. I thought someone told me to expect about 6mpg. It is also an ultrashift pulling 80,000 pounds.
