Oregon | I never thought I would miss the 30 Series tractors because the new 8Rs seemed so refined. Last week I jumped in an 8330 for a little while and it was nice not to wait for the computer all the time. It was nice to pick the IVT mode with a dial rather than tapping the screen. It was nice not to have the transmission recalibrate all the time. And it was nice to never see this code which came up a couple times on different units last month- all 2011 8Rs. Kinda makes you wander if Deere's operating software is kinda like Windows Vista.
