Subject: Wheel weights

Springville Alabama
I have a Kubota M4800 with 14.9 28 Firestone Tires. The tires are filled with Antifreeze and Water. The tractor weighs 3750# from the factory. Add 884 # for water, so it weighs 4634#. Add 1000 # for the Bushhog front end loader, so we are right at 5600#.

The tractor has 51 engine and 43 PTO horsepower.

I'm pulling a Ford 101 turning plow 2-16 with new shares and shins. The tractor has plenty of horsepower to pull the plow, but just wants to spin on top of the ground.

Question?

I've spoken to the dealer and can get wheel weights for the tractor. 328# per set for $300.00.

How many sets should I add and will this help with the spinning???

No-till is not an option. Preparing ground to plant vegetables.

Thanks in Advance for the help!!!
Chris
