Subject: Marriage of MX275, Deere 1770 Planter, and Greenstar

Looking at the possibility of using a neighbor's MX 275 on my Deere 1770 planter. I want to use my existing Greenstar display (2600) and Starfire (SF2) for guidance and variety mapping. The MX 275 does not have the steering valves and have been told my Deere steering wheel that I use on older Deere tractors without valves will work on the MX. Does the MX have existing wiring harness that will be compatible to the Starfire? I realize the wiring harness to plug in the display and the planter can be put on the MX. I have not talked to the CaseIH people, but neighbor has. I remain skeptical and fear this marriage between the MX and Greenstar will not be very compatible. I don't want to deal with problems and I think we are asking for some with this deal. Thank you.
