| Looking at a 2011 JD combine for next year. 9770, currently have a 9670. Would like a few more HP. 8 row chopping head, 30 air reel. Hp isn't always an issue....on some hills and wet years it is needed. The option of the auto harvest...not sure what called. Keeps combine at full cap. Anyone run it? Like it? My thoughts...in years went wet, on the hills it may call for more speed to keep things full. With the 9670 will run out of power sooner, sometimes it is the header that dictates speed, (down corn, wet, tuff...) Could be one of those tech deals...love it when it works...hate it because it doesn't work like you would like. Thanks | |
