Subject: Peterbilt Pipes

I am looking around for pipes for my Pete. I have a 379 that is gonna need exhaust work within the next year. Stock mufflers now but I want to go with a nice large exhaust, picket elbows and mitre tips. I was thinking either 7 or 8 inch pipes 96" long, which would give me about 3 ft above the top clamp. I was looking in iowa80 and other online websites and the prices seem to come in around 2-3k. Were have you guys gotten yours from? I really tried to give a local shop my business but they wanted 1k for each elbow!!! I don't really want my truck too much louder than it already is so I'll prob put a resonator or muffler underneath. What sounds good? I basically want the larger pipes for the look-not a loud ass truck. What do you guys recommend?
