Sunny side of the Moose Mountains | Im using a viper pro in an 04 4410 sprayer to control auto steer(smartrax), auto boom and accuboom plus used for mapping. I still have the old raven 460 for rate control. I just bought this viper this winter to replace an envisio plus which worked excellent, I found a deal on a viper and have always wanted one for the bigger screen and more features.
Question is when I am spraying a field my acres will be good and next time I look at it, it will be reading 800-1000 acres applied, when the 460 is right on. I haven't sprayed any one field bigger than 550 acres yet this year, most are 300 or less. After it jumps to a higher number, from then on the acres seem to increase accordinly. The only thing that maked me wonder is I usually record a zone (field boundary) would this be causing my acres to increase?
Also on my main screen before I start a job there is about half of my fields outlined on the screen, and as I go farther away from them to start the next one, they get smaller keeping them visible on the screen(approxmatley 12 miles between fields on the screen)
Other than this I love the viper its an awewsome tool to have especially vs the envisio
