EC Indiana | I have a 1997 K2500 with a 5.7. 70k miles.
Has new plugs and wires, had and IV hooked up to it with super injector cleaner. Scanner does not show anything. Took it to our local tranmission expert, he scanned and drove it. Gave his approval.
It lacks power, has a miss or hesitation under minor load, fuel mileage may be worse than normal. This has been going on for a while. Has had many tanks of fuel through it. Injector cleaner, gas dry. On one damp yucky day, it would not hardly run, then finally straightened out.
If you are driving at a steady 60mph and start up a very gradual grade, it starts to have a slight hesitation, almost like a miss. Will do it in either Over drive or Drive.
Truck has 373 rears, and 265/75 tires.
