#1, I think that YP is out of the ballgame.

Now, RP, vs RPHE(RP harvest exclusion).

RP vs RPHE at the same rate(70-75%) is about $9-$11/acre more for the same coverage level. Coverage levels this year are very good. IMHO, RPHE is a good deal IF you are not going to forward contract large amounts. RPHE gives you a floor, and protects you in the case of a price decrease. In the case of a price increase, you have the bushels to sell at the higher price. The downside risk to this, IMHO, is a case of a yield claim, plus higher fall prices. In that case, you have to be satisfied with the amount of coverage that you locked in. That looks to be the only situation you would collect with straight RP.
