North Central Kansas | Finally got my pad poured for my fenceline feedbunk. I have been wanting to get it done for the last 5 years. Finally decided that this was the year. I got the pad formed and poured this week. I poured a 12'x106' pad. This will allow me to put 10-10' bunks for a total of 100' on the pad. At the end of each bunk is a 5" pipe poured with the pad. I allowed a 1' on each end of the bunk for wiggle room. The pad extends 2' past each post. I was wanting some pictures of how the cables have been attached. Friend has one bunk that uses eye bolts to attach the cable to each post. The other bunkline uses cable clips.
I still haven't located any cable for my project. All the feedlot companies sell it in the 5000 and 10,000 foot spools. I only need 220 feet. Anyone know where I can get the cable in Kansas? | |
