Subject: Help me pick sprayer tips

Mid-Missouri

I am thinking about adding a second set of tips for our 4710. Right now I use the red spraymaster AI tips that came with it. I almost always spray 7 or 8 gpa for anything related to soybeans and wheat and burndown and 10 gpa for corn pre-and post emerge.

I would like a tip rated for about half of what my current tip is. In other words, I would like to cut my rate to about 4 gpa, yet maintain my current pressure range (20-60 psi)for the speeds I drive (usually 10-15 mph but like to slow down going through ditches w/o too much overspray). My current tip would still be used for the corn crop.

What do you think about the Guardian tip from Deere? What tip do you recommend. I want it to be effective, durable, long life and of course minimal drift.

Here is a good link for sprayer tips and Banjo products.

The second screen is a pdf for tips. The third is a Banjo pdf. All others seem to focus on add-ons for Deere sprayers. Thanks.
