ND
We are currently looking for a new tractor that would be mainly used for planting. It would be nice to have something big enough to do spring field work, etc. while our other 4WD is on the air drill and we are looking at a Cat w/ 36" tracks. How would this work pulling a 30" planter? Will i have have problems with the units that run in the wheel tracks? It's obviously more tractor than we need for a 16 row planter, but the price is alot more attractive than a 200+ HP FWA.
