SW Ohio
So how much does snow weigh? I know, I know it depends.....

I just shoveled off the grain hopper, had about 14" of snow melted down in to a layer of ice and crystals and snow but I believe the majority of the 14" was still there. My barn roofs look the same, not 14" deep but a lot of ice. I am guessing the trailer had 10-15 pounds per square foot.

We are forcast to get an additional 7-9" tomorrow. I know some of my barns have a 25# design load, 4/12 pitch, should I be worried???
If we get 7-9 it just may be the most snow on the ground at one time in my 50+ years here, 1978 may have been worse but we had a lot of wind that cleaned off the roofs. Did I mention I hate winter?
